The Sustainable Development Networking Programme (SDNP) of Bangladesh
Institute of Development Studies (BIDS), a component of Sustainable
Environment Management Programme (SEMP) of the ministry of Environment and
Forestry (MoEF) is looking for the following project personnel. 1. Assistant System Administrator (1 position): The candidate should have working knowledge in Perl, Shell
scripts, load balancing system, firewall deployment and system security.
Familiar with back up strategy, disaster recovery strategies, remote
management and administration and RAID system. VSAT equipment experience would
be an added advantage. A university degree in computer science /IT or a related field
with at least 2 years practical experience. 2. Maintenance Engineer- Network (1 position): The candidate should have 2 years of practical experience in
installing and configuring Linux (TCP/IP); familiar with backup strategies,
remote management and administration, networking over TCP/IP. A university
degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. 3. Maintenance Engineer- Radio Link (1 position): The candidate should have 2 years of practical experience in
installation and configuration of LAN/WAN link, Linux (TCP/IP); familiar with
backup strategies, networking over TCP/IP. A university degree in Computer
Science or a related field is required. Interested candidates may submit their applications with
